Coronal lesions on Glans Penis
My Patient is 26 year old. He is suffering from this coronal lesions. No improvement by taking Phenoxy methyl Penicillin(Penvik 250), Cefixim, Flucloxacillin from Nearest pharmacy for 5 days. Then He comes to me and i suggest him to do VDRL, TPHA & HBSAg But All are negative. Most Sensitive & Specific Test for Syphilis- Darkground Microscopy is not Available Here. What can i do now?? Now Injection Benzyl Penicillin therapy will be helpful or not?? Symptoms - Mild pain in this lesion, Bodache, Mild Fever. No Urethral Discharge.
Do lesions have pain? How about inguinal lymphadenopathy? Systemic constitional problems?
Bijan i saw u have said inguinal enlargment. I think its probably herpes.
Ceftriaxone 1gm bd plus gentamicin 80 mg od for five days am sure will clear the infection
