Hey all you smart doctors to be...my son is studying for MCATs, his exam is May 19th. He keeps taking practice test and canโ€™t budge his score of 509. Anyone have advice or ideas or support ? This is out of my wheelhouse. He sure could use a support group!

I have noticed that a lot of male students have problems with the comprehensive reading part and study that a lot before re-taking the test. My advice would be to find out which subjects is problematic and focus on that one. The brain will take up information better if itโ€™s given in small pieces over a period of time in stead of all cramped in a week! Just practice every day for a couple of hours and have a run/swim/(other physical activity) to releax your mind!

Thank you. I know the psych section and the ?CRE? has been the most problematic. I keep telling him to take a break but he is in a bit of panic mode and studies every day 5-6 hours. I donโ€™t think you can absorb that much
