Hey all you smart doctors to be...my son is studying for MCATs, his exam is May 19th. He keeps taking practice test and can’t budge his score of 509. Anyone have advice or ideas or support ? This is out of my wheelhouse. He sure could use a support group!

I have noticed that a lot of male students have problems with the comprehensive reading part and study that a lot before re-taking the test. My advice would be to find out which subjects is problematic and focus on that one. The brain will take up information better if it’s given in small pieces over a period of time in stead of all cramped in a week! Just practice every day for a couple of hours and have a run/swim/(other physical activity) to releax your mind!

Thank you. I know the psych section and the ?CRE? has been the most problematic. I keep telling him to take a break but he is in a bit of panic mode and studies every day 5-6 hours. I don’t think you can absorb that much
