Hey Everyone!, I’m a premed student and I wanted to ask if anyone has any good studying tips? Also, how do you keep the motivation to study without getting distracted?
Just do all you want to do everyday, just exclude two hours to revise whatever you’ve taken that day. That’s more than enough if you keep the pace
What year? My son is studying for MCATs and could use some ideas as well?
Study in bursts. Pick a topic and set a timer for 15 minutes and try to rote learn as much as you can in that time then take a quick 5 minute break. It’s kinda like HIIT training for your brain 😅
Hi there! FIRSTLY it will be hard doing Biology by rote learning. So you should study it by heart. For eliminating distraction and procrastination I'd say get a friend who is also pre med and then make daily timetables and practice it. The great extention is that if you are unable to complete a task, you have punishment (for ex I have to do literature if I didn't complete my task 😢)
Also try reading books, Ury - Campbell is the best books for pre med high school students
