Raynaud’s Syndrome

Raynaud’s Syndrome

Hi everybody! I would like to share this to educate people. I have a syndrome called Raynaud’s. It stops blood flow to toes, fingers, and even noses. Fortunately I only have it in some toes and some fingers. It causes my fingers and/or toes to go completely numb for 2-10ish minutes. Since it also stops blood flow, it turns the toes or fingers affected, completely white (I do understand this is not a good photo, but as you can see in my second toe, it is white and it was completely numb at this point). It is caused when my hands and feet become cold. I am constantly having to wear double socks and gloves when it’s a little bit cold outside and even sometimes inside, or this occurs. People with Raynaud’s have a very high/quicker chance of getting frost bite with the syndrome. The syndrome is not fatal, but I would seek medical attention if the numbness/circulation issue lasts more than 20-30 minutes. Please leave any questions below and hopefully I can answer them for you!!
