They are almost the same, i can see that. But I also see some cardiac output. So as i mentioned before a possible cause would be a cardiogenic shock where a minimal pressure is assisted by some kind of external support like V-A ECMO/ ECLS (thats how it is called in German ICUs). ECG with Broad QRS would underline cardiac genesis.
Thanks for sharing this case! I find also it fascinating when the ECMO is being used for ARDS. You can literally see the blood turning light red and getting oxygenated.
Ah you're German π I'm in France (Paris) as you might have seen. Yes this patient was on ECMO after an aortic dissection due to Marfan's syndrome put this patient in Hemorrhagic + Cardiogenic shock. I always find it amazing when the patient's heart stops beating and they are left with a median pressure thanks to the ECMO. This was almost the case. Unfortunately the patient passed away later that day.
