Please be sure to talk with your high school counselor about any CTE medical courses your school has. If they don’t have what you’re looking for, ask if they partner with any local colleges. Maybe you could take your medical courses through that college-in-high-school type program.

I’m way past high school; but if this is something you want to do, don’t let anyone stop you! Write down why you want to do it. There will come a day when you’re at work, you’ve had a 12 hour shift, you’re exhausted and you’ll ask yourself, “why did I do this” then look at that note, and go kick some butt
