What is the pathophysiology of typhus disease

Typhus is spread in ticks louse etc. It may be by bite of insects or just rubbing them on skin.Bacteria enter the skin to reach lymphatics and then bloodstream. It mainly infects endothelial cell of vessels and are self phogocytosed into cell .they break vacoules to enter cytoplasm and causes cell death.so they initiate thrombosis and mainly affects vital organs like brain ,spleen, heart etc
