Can anyone diagnose me? I have a wrist that prevents me from putting any weight on it , for example doing push ups , as it hurts like hell whenever I do. When I rotate my wrist the pain incurs too at times. IT has been like such for perhaps 1 AND a half years. The last time I had a wrist injury was around 4-5 years ago, when I fell heavily with my hand supporting my whole body weight down , which sprained both of my wrists.
I don’t think it can be a ganglion cyst as there will be a bulging of wrist which can be visible. And in addition he says it has been like one and half year so within this period if there was any cyst it can become very big which cannot be unseen. Correct me if I’m wrong 🙏🏻. Thanks
If u have kind of numbness or tingling sensation on first three fingers (thumb , index and middle) then it might be due to compression of nerve(median nerve) between the wrist joints which also produces pain. It seems like u work out a lot. So according to me ur diagnosis will be carpel Turner syndrome.
The pain extends from above and around my wrist and down my tendons to my ring , index and middle finger joints. I originally suspected it was a tendon injury. Could you enlighten me on this?
So it’s seems like ur nerve is squeezed between your bones which causes the pain. It will pain more when u try to move your wrist up and down or rotate. Just try to do a gentle tap above your palm and if it pains in your first three fingers it might probably be carpel Turner syndrome. So I suggest u to show it to a doctor!!🙏🏻
And also the median nerve is supplied to half of the ring finger ( longitudinally). So it’s possible that your ring finger might also pain due to the compression!
Thanks for the information! It does hurt when I bend my wrist and tap on top of my hand. So it perhaps is Carpel Turner Syndrome indeed.
