Strawberry tongue/raspberry tongue seen in SCARLET FEVER

Scarlet fever - caused by beta hemolytic strep and is contagious ...spreads by respiratory droplets............also SCARLET SKIN RASH appears on the second or third day of illness ( mostly prominent on skin folds) ....This is due to the toxic injury of the endothelium which produces dilation of blood vessel and subsequent hyperemia.........
