Dentally related rectal foreign bodies are very rare and there are many reasons given for their presence in the rectum, most commonly accidental insertion, assault, and psychosexual motives. These type of cases pose a challenging diagnostic and therapeutic dilemma due to the fact that retained rectal foreign bodies may present with perforation, obstruction, or bleeding; necessitating fast intervention.
