Tiny little sutures running after corneal transplant surgery

The cornea is a clear tissue that covers the front of each eye. It acts as a window to the eye. The coloured iris and the pupil can be seen through the cornea.Number of problems can damage the cornea, affecting vision (such as trauma and scarring, infection, degenerative conditions), which will eventually require corneal transplantation (grafting). The corneal graft is surgically sutured in place of the removed cornea, and the result in seen above. 👀
