Do you think it’s late to go into med university at age 21? I paused a year and studied Chemistry but now I know that’s not for me, and I’m turning 20 in a month, so what do you think I should do? Always wanted to be a doctor but failed my first exams for being into med. Thank you all.
Go for it. It’s never too late. I know people who didn’t become a doctor until well into their 30s, even early 40s. You have to decide what you want to do. And love what you do.
I am doing the same thing. I know a girl who’s 29 and applying to med school. Don’t let your age get in the way of your dreams. You and I are still young!!
It depends where you want to do it, if you want to do it in the USA you'll need 4 years of premedical before the actual faculty (where you're not sure to be accepted). But if you do it in Europe, first it's cheaper, then you won't have to do 4 years of premed.
Look ahead 10 years and ask yourself was it worth it... the answer will be "absolutely"
