Giant Lipoma

Giant Lipoma

Most common benign soft tissue tumor. It is also called universal tumor because it can occur in all parts of the body. Normal size is 2-3cm but when it grows to greater than 10 cm it is called Giant Lipoma. It usually occur in people age 40-60 but can occur in any age group. It is usually asymptomatic and treatment is not required unless painful and rapidly enlarging. Definitive treatment is surgical excision.
