Hello! I’m 16 and an aspiring neurosurgeon who’s very willing to learn anything he can get his hands on. Any resources or tips for the future would be appreciated.
Honestly man, you’re just so far away I’d say enjoy where you’re at now and do well in school. Don’t stress learning anything medical yet. Enjoy HS and sports or whatever you’re into. Then when the time comes to buckle down, do it. If you want a couple good books about medicine to see if you really want it I’d read “hot lights cold steel” and specific for neuro maybe read “when breath becomes air” although fair warning that one will make you cry. Good luck, enjoy the process!
