Hello everyone, I will be a freshman in college this coming year and majoring in biology with the hopes of becoming an orthopedic surgeon. Does anyone have any tips on the workload of college, maybe some good books to read about my field, or anything in general. Thanks in advance!
I’m a high school student, but I’ve taken several college classes. The best advice someone gave me is to always be a week ahead of your reading and studying material. This sounds obvious but it’s definitely effective for a full time college student.
Stay on top of your work by keeping a planner and color coding your classes! I’m a senior Health and Exercise Science Major, but absolutely recommend google scholar and just looking up medical journals to read on your profession! You could also see if there’s a journal that orthopedic surgeons publish to!
