Rx +19,0 D sph due to aphakia

This is how looks +19,0 D sph lens before mounting it in the frame! Patient (F, 20 y.o) has aphakia - which is the absence of the lens of the eye in this case due to surgical removal (congenital cataract). It causes a loss of accommodation, far sightedness (hyperopia), and a deep anterior chamber. This patient usually wears contactlenses Rx +26,0 D sph but due to neovascularization of the cornea they are contraindicated.
