If one heart fails, will it die?

Two of it's heart are meant for pumping blood and the third one is for circulation.If the heart performing circulation is removed than it would most likely die due to inability to circulate blood all around the body but if one heart for pumping is removed the octopus will survive because other one is still performing its function of pumping.
