The normal blood pressure is 120/80mm Hg , and the atmospheric pressure is 760mm Hg . But when there is injury to artery there will be gushing of blood outside , against the pressure gradient ? Why so?

Even we have a basal atmospheric pressure of 1atm=760mm Hg , if our internal pressure is zero we would have crushed into a ball like structure by the atmospheric pressure , hence our bp is 760+120/760+80.But we express as 120/80 mm Hg
