12 year old boy presented with a blunt abdominal trauma caused when he was cycling and fell off his bike. As result, he injured his pancreas (unknown to him; never came for a check up). 3 weeks after the incident, a fistula formed (abnormal connection between spleen and pancreas) and began to have a lot of abdominal pain (chief complaint). After examination and some tests, it was found pancreas had been wounded. Patient underwent surgery for a total distal pancreatectomy with splenectomy.
