Esophageal Atresia

A 2.9-kg term male infant is born to a mother who developed polyhydramnios at 34 weeks' gestation. At birth, the Apgar scores were 9 and 9. The infant develops choking and cyanosis with the first feed. In addition, is unable to place a nasogastric tube.
