Cron disease comment site - ileum and cecum Grossly - Skip lesion are seen H&E- granuloma is seen , transmural inflammation Ulcerative colitis Comment site - colon and rectum Grossly - continues involvement , pseudopolyp , H&E - granuloma is not present , mucosa is involved Cryptitis , crypt abcess present in both but more prominent in ulerative colitis
