There are different types of nurses you have the PCT, CNA, LVN, LPN, RN, BSRN, MSRN, NP. The only difference is the educational level. Start off small like a PCT, or CNA, to get the feel of the Field and see if you want to continue on towards being a RN. I have seen so many people jump into nursing but felt defeated because they didn't realize that nursing is more than just books, and smarts. It also deals with compassion, dedication, and empathy towards patients. I am a MA in training to be a CMA, i have two associates degrees one in biology, and in Arts, i am still striving for my Bachelor's Degree in Biology. I attended Northern Michigan University and have friends who are nurses. i never thought i would be working with humans, my dream was to be a veterinarian but it didn't work out, and life happened like always but if you feel your 💓 and will is strong enough to get through nursing school then go for it. I actually had a friend who went through nursing and after 5yrs in the program she just decided i dont want to do it and switched her major to French. Also have a strong support system.
