The Hip bone! Quick facts below 3 Bones fuse together to become the Pelvic Bone which are the Ilium, Ischium & Pubis. If you place your hands on your waist, you'll feel the arch of what's seen above and its known as the Ilium, and specifically your touching the Iliac crest. Muscles of the thigh are attached to the Anterior superior Iliac spine & the Anterior inferior Iliac spine. Wiggle in your chair, you should be able to feel your Ischial tuberosity. This is part of the Ischium and is the attachment point for the posterior thigh muscles. This carries the weight of the body when sitting. The Pubis is a connection point to your other hip bone. The pubic body is joined to the pubic body of the opposite hip bone by the pubic symphysis. Get familiar with this bone, it'll come useful when discussing the entire Pelvic Girdle.
