Yeah bcz of presence of sinuses in this area which directly connected to the brain and also has some major arteries there so its dangerous tht if u pop the pimples there might cause rupture of any vessels and cause bleeding in tht area and it will cause infection which can be spread to the brain through those sinuses ....
The deep facial vein draining that part of face drains into pterygoid venous plexus ....which has direct communication with cavernous sinus located in the cranial cavity....
Totally agree with you... fake. Where does that fact came from? Need bibliography, no google facts. Besides, i've been popping pimples in that area for long time and im ok, no facial paralysis, neither infection or death hahah. One more thing, phisiopathology its not the same as anatomy... go read medicine books or articles; stop googling poorly related medicine images
No....its true....a young man died of scorpion bite in that part of face in our hospital
Yea, because the vein draining this area (facial vein) doesn't have any valves and also, it communicates with the cavernous sinus, a sinus present in the brain. Infection spread through this pathway can also damage the nerves passing through the sinus. Those nerves supply the eye (motor part) and face causing their paralysis!
