Pre-med is where you learn the basic stuff of medicine before getting into the bigger stuff. So more like a foundation to medicine.

A good start would be studying organic chemistry , biology, medical terminology. These subject will help you get credit to get into pre-med. Once you join Medical college they would teach you all these subject in Pre-med. subject like anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, behavioral science, organic chemistry, biostatistics, microbiology and more. Depend on where you want to study. Every college has different patterns on what they teach for a semester.
