The Brain Circulation

The two internal carotid arteries and the two vertebral arteries supply blood to the brain. Vertebral arteries join to basilar artery which then splits to form the two posterior cerebral arteries, which in turn are part of the circle of Willis at the base of the brain.

What are the problems occur due to occlusion of cerebral artery

Unconsciousness. If the occlusion dures longer -> ischemic infarct? Brain tissue damages?
