I am a Year 2 medical student and having a question. Let’s say that you are in an airplane and suddenly one person collapse with unknown reason. That person is continuously exhale(absence of inhalation), heart is pumping(you are not sure that it is pumping normally or abnormally) and in unconscious. Are you going to do CPR or not? And in this case, do I have to give Saline solution or not? As well as, can I give glyceryl trinitrate with aspirin?

Anyone that's unconcoscious not in hospital I was taught to treat them as having hypoglycemia (so give some fast sugars, check their vitals/ level of consciousness etc) ; I highly doubt you will have the things on an airplane to give IV or IM NS, unless your talking about like a medivac plane than that's different. I also wouldn't attempt CPR until you know 100% that the person is no longer breathing. I hope this helps!
