A developing radicular cyst.
An epithelium-lined cavity has formed in this large periapical granuloma. There is a thick fi brous capsule infi ltrated by chronic infl ammatory cells. The alveolar bone has been resorbed and remodelled to accommodate the slowly expanding swelling.
