Correction of Anterior Open Bite with Maxillary Repositioning

Correction of Anterior Open Bite with Maxillary Repositioning

(A-D): Anterior open bite caused by vertical maxillary excess with a flat occlusal plane. Treated by moving the entire maxilla upward (one-piece surgery), resulting in improved occlusion. (E-H): Open bite with uneven maxillary occlusal planes. Treated by segmental maxillary surgery to align segments on the same plane and close the bite, leading to better esthetics.
