Ranula treatment sequence

A) Ranula in the right floor of mouth from accumulation of sublingual gland saliva in soft tissue due to ruptured salivary duct. (B) Elliptical marsupialization incisions. (C) Marsupialization of ranula, with excision of oral mucosa together with the superior wall of ranula. (D) Completion of marsupialization of left floor of mouth ranula with placement of circumferential sutures. (E) Completed marsupialization with ranula lining sutured to floor of mouth mucosa.
