Root end resection

(A) Irretrievable material (arrow) in mesial and palatal canals and apical pathosis. (B) Canals are re-treated, but this has failed. (C) Treatment is root end resection to level of gutta-percha in the mesial and palatal aspects. (D) After 2 years, healing is complete.
