Immediate implants

Implants placed in fresh extraction sockets must have 4 mm of precise fit along the apical aspect of implant. Implants should be countersunk slightly below the crest of bone. Gaps between the implant and facial socket wall are most often grafted with autogenous or allogeneic bone, bone morphogenetic protein, or both.
