Hey all! Hope everyone is well. I have a question regarding endocrinology. I’m learning about 11 beta hydroxylase deficiency. Pts presents with hypertension because of excess adrenergic hormones and ACTH (due to low mineral/gluco corticoids. What I don’t understand is, wouldn’t the fact that there’s low cortisol mean low blood volume due to lack of water& salt retention in the body?
