Endocarditis

A 14-year-old male patient, with 4 hospital days in the pediatric intensive care unit with a diagnosis of infective endocarditis and staphylococcemia. He underwent mitral valveplasty, currently in poor hemodynamic and neurological condition. By his side the only person who never abandons him in life, his mother, praying for him every day. Waiting for a miracle because what science does not cure is cured by God.
