Motor vehicle accident

42 yr old male involved in a high speed MVA >60kms/hr. All airbags deployed in the car, pt was driving the car. Cabin intrusion to the front right of the car. Pt was tachycardic at 115bpm, blood pressure of 140/85 and 5/10 pain. IV access gained in the ambulance. 12mg of Iv morphine given and 8mg of IV ondansetron due to nausea. Pt transported to a level 1 trauma centre for ongoing treatment.
