Case of posterior type Knee dislocation due to carrying heavy load All the ligaments are torn Treatment: traction and fitting Recovery:by fibrosis Procedure: tell one person to hold popliteal fossa and traction of the leg which balances the femur to tibia and patella Complications: 30% amputation chance due to rupture of poplitial artery 35% chance of peroneal nerve damage And other many more.

@Rupak dislocation and fracture is not the same thing, the knee joint dislocation is obvious but i can't see the fracture(discontinuity in a bone ) as the heading of the post says πŸ€”

30% chance of amputation??? That seems high. Is there better way to reduce the dislocation, with lesser risk of complications??
