Cholesterol

LDL, or low-density lipoprotein, is made in liver by the breakdown of VLDL(very-low density lipoprotein). LDL carry cholesterol from the storage places (like liver and adipose tissue) to the blood vessels. When the cholesterol is excessive in amounts, it will precipitate in the endothelium of the blood vessels, causing plaque.

By macrophage cells they fet oxidized at sub endothelial region and create foam cells that will lead to muscle cell proliferation and endothelial damage caused by t cells thus they will find their ways to supra endothelial region
