Severe scalp laceration

After C-Section, a lacerated scalp! This is a case of severe scalp laceration in a newborn after going through a cesarean section. Repair of the injury was successful with good results. Most recent follow-up reveals no functional deficits.

It's seems that doctor who did C-section cut the scalp of baby with the uterine wall(it was very tin with pregnancy)

It doesnt need to be replaced. They can bring it together with suture.

This is an old case; the photo I have seen of this case shows three photos, the above initial injury, the sutured laceration, then a photo of the child as a toddler and the healed scar looks amazing! Really, she is beautiful and has healed very well. Aside from that, as a mother I would be L I V I D
