INO (internuclear ophthalmoplegia )

INO (internuclear ophthalmoplegia )

INO is usually caused by a lesion affecting MLF which is responsible of conjugated eye movement , MLF gives a an ipsilateral fiber to CN VI, and a contralateral fiber supplies CNIII, that’s why during conjugated eye movement the eye fails to adduct therefore the lesion will be one the contralateral side .
