Nanoscientists have created a tiny micromotor to get sperm moving and help combat one of the main causes of infertility: problems with sperm motility. The spiraled piece of metal wraps around the sperm's tail, enhancing its movements. Physiological changes that begin when the sperm contacts the egg then cause the motor to slip off. The technology hasn't been tested in humans as yet. But infertility rates are growing around the world from numerous causes including injury, health problems, smoking, environmental conditions, and hormone disrupters in plastic pollution. Technologies like this may help couples struggling to conceive in the future. 📷 German Institute for Integrative Nanosciences By: https://fb.watch/fgARPTN1GF/
