Steatorrhea

the excretion of abnormal quantities of fat with the faeces owing to reduced absorption of fat by the intestine.Although several conditions can lead to impaired lipid absorption and steatorrhea (excess fat in the feces), the most common causes of steatorrhea are related to bile salt deficiency, pancreatic enzyme deficiency, defective CM synthesis, or lymphatic obstruction.
