Why is heatstroke considered a stroke if the blood in your brain doesn't clot or leak?

I imagine for a couple of reasons: 1. To indicate the seriousness of the situation; 2. To distinguish it from heat exhaustion; 3. Because it is life threatening, can be associated with a severe headache and altered mentation, and it can seriously damage the brain. I hope this helps.
