Scaphoid Fracture

Scaphoid is a carpal bone. The fracture of scaphoid bone leads to tenderness and pain in the anatomical snuff box aka radial fossa. Fracture of scaphoid usually occurs due to fall on outstretched hand. Management involves below elbow cast for undisplaced fracture. For displacement > 1 mm, headless compression nail is used.
