Sprengel shoulder is a congenital deformity of the scapula characterized abnormal connection between the cervical spine and the scapula. The connection may be formed by omovertebral process, fibrous band, or a bony bar. The individual presents with higher, rotated, and smaller scapula. The patient may have other associated conditions such as cardiovascular disorders, scoliosis, or abnormalities of thorax, thoracic or cervical spine.
