Patient (Male, 16 yo) has a nasty headache when he is doing sports, it gets worst when he is bent down and gets better when he compresse cerebral arteries (carotides). What could it be??

Firstly we have to exclude secondary causes of headache as sinusitis, decrease visual acuity, anaemia then we can think about primary causes as migraine or tension headache

No relationship between sinusitis and compression of temporal arteries but we shouldn't consider all history of the patient or his explanation is true or important for your diagnosis. So we make provisional diagnosis and ttt accordingly then by follow up we will be able to confirm or to neglect that diagnosis

Its true that sinusitis headache is aggrevated when one bend forwards... But does it get relieved on compressing cerebral arteries?

Migraine headaches are also precipitated by physical effort. But I am not sure about this carotids issue 😅 what is the answer
