Can you explain the characteristics of this jerking? And did you have it before or it is something new? Does it occur when you start a movement?
I'm 18 years old and It's not genetical. No twitching but more like tremor yes. My hand gets shaky, it’s not a jerking movement like when having a seizure. It’s more like when you have too much coffee and you have a caffeine rush, i get that kind of shakes. And it gets worse sometimes, even if i’m not nervous, sometimes i’m completely relaxed but i still manage to get shaky hands. When it gets worse it feels like I can’t carry a glass of water, it’s like the muscles are not helping me to carry it, even if I manage to carry the glass it is still shaky.
You said that you don't have this in your family and you are still so young to have a neurological problem such as Parkinson's in my opinion. Maybe it is due to some hormonal imbalances such as hyperthroidism. Which causes excess sweating, tremors, diarrhea, weight loss but all of these may not be present all the time of course... my advice to you, if you really think that there is something wrong, go to the nearest clinic and ask for a blood test. A simple blood test can reveal a lot of things. No need to worry, I am sure there is an explanation to this.
I hope you get better soon, let me know when you have a diagnosis😊👍 I wish you the best in your life and career.
It can be anything but plz don't get so worried... You are just 18....get your thyroid checked firstly...
