Salivary Glands
Salivary glands are an important part of oral cavity. They produce almost 1.5 L of saliva per day. Saliva helps in swallowing, digestion, aids in lubricating the mouth and prevents from bacteria. Our mouth has three pairs of salivary glands. 1- Parotid 2- Submandibular 3-Sublingual
