Glutamine is a potential amino acid. it actively builds the lining of small intestines and GIT in general. However, there is limited data about the effect of glutamine in Crohn's Disease effected small intestines. Glutamine is potent supplement to help your intestines absorb more nutrients but in abnormally functioning intestine sthe effect may not be the same. Talk to your doctor before you take glutamine supplements.
