Please help me, the male patient age 27 complain of severe pain in the vertebrate in-between chest and backbone, and when he sit down and when he wants to get up his backbone start very pain with left and right, he severe it more than 2years
It may be due to compression of nerves ,or depend upon if there is history of trauma in past years. Vertebral pain if occuring in lower region with the same complaisn then it may be a case of coccidynia,or other vertbreae may be involved. For treatment first u should get a x ray done,then ddpedning upon pathology treat that as. For daily routine patient can also wear band that is support on standing ,avoid heavy work load and driving bike or scooty as it may enchance your pain...on even sudden jerk.
Go with the usual treatment - muscle relaxants and analgesic!Next I would suggest for a spine CT, u have to rule out dangerous diagnosis! Also if patient is financially strong go for aortic Doppler as it can be a long standing aortic dissection!
Go for investigations to sports a diagnosis with more details Hx . My D/D regarding to Hx : multiple myeloma or leukemia or ether it’s going with muscles pain mess explaining as bone pain
Does he play sports? Does he have any deformities you can see in his spine? Family history? Any previous injury?
