Stroke is a cardiovascular disorder. It is the extreme complication of atherosclerotic arteries and hypertension. Stroke is either ischemic or hemorrhagic. In ischemic stroke, the blood vessel to a part of brain cuts off or stops supplying. In hemorrhagic stroke, the blood vessel bursts supplying no blood to that part of brain.
